Clark Forklift Specifications
Types
Pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisles are only among the various types of forklift trucks manufactured by Clark. The various types differ in terms of the way they are powered. For example, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle types designed for use inside warehouses and different other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks differs based on the kind. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC types are recommended. They could lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks operate on AC battery cells, either 36 volt or 48 volt. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC kinds have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This includes the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
